Open Type Automatic Shearing and Butt Welding Machine

The steel strip pressing mechanism and shearing device of this machine are all of C-shaped structure, i.e., the front ends are open. Not only can the steel strip be pushed into the pressing and shearing device along the direction of strip travels, but also can the strip be pushed into from the side of the pressing and shearing device, which is flexible and convenient to operate. The operator only needs to push head end and tail end of the steel strip into the shearing mouth, step on the foot switch, and the steel strip will be automatically aligned and pressed.

The shearing and welding positions of this machine are arranged horizontally, compared with the vertically arranged shearing and welding machine, the automation degree is greatly improved, while the requirements for the operator's operation skills are reduced, and non-skillful workers can operate it. Because it is fully automatic from the strip alignment to the completion of welding and machine retreat, the time for welding a weld seam is greatly shortened, which is of great significance to the high-speed steel pipe production line.

Compared with fixed gantry-type shearing and welding machines, this machine is not equipped with the horizontal rolls or traction devices, so it greatly shortened in the length direction. Because the machine retreats from the welding position after the welding is completed, so there is no wear and tear of the steel strip on the machine when the strip moves forward, so the service life of the machine is long.

After pressing the Automatic Start button, the machine will automatically complete the welding process according to the program of Automatic Shearing → Strip Alignment → Strip Pressing → Automatic Welding → Return of Welding Device, and then the machine will automatically retreat to the standby position, leaving the strip travel channel open.

The verified parameter group is stored in the PLC + HMI. And when it is used, you can choose the appropriate data in the menu interface of the touch screen, and a group of parameters will be selected after one-key confirmation which is very convenient.

This machine provides a choice for users who have requirements for automated welding but not willing to accept the price of gantry-type butt welding machines.
